GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – 1 Bold Step is proud to announce that its Founder and CEO, Jennifer Jurgens now sits on the National Small Business Association (NSBA) Leadership Council. NSBA is the nation’s oldest nonpartisan, small-business advocacy organization.
Jennifer is a recognized leader in West Michigan’s small business community and will join the NSBA Leadership Council alongside other small-business advocates across the country as they work to promote the interests of small businesses to policymakers in Washington, D.C.
“There is power in small businesses actively engaging in policy and regulation, and it is crucial for us, as business leaders, to ensure that the voices of the community are not only heard but are championed,” Jennifer explained.
“Small businesses play a vital role in shaping the economic landscape. By being actively involved in organizations like the NSBA, we empower ourselves and others to speak up,” she continued. “This isn't just about policy; it's about fostering a culture where every voice matters, especially those that need to reach Congress. I am honored to be a part of the NSBA Leadership Council and excited to work alongside fellow advocates to safeguard the interests of small businesses on a national scale.”
Jennifer's entrepreneurial journey stands as a tribute to her resolve and grit. Her dedication to challenging norms and finding new ways to deliver marketing services to other small businesses has driven the agency's evolution from modest origins to a powerful presence in the market.
“I am proud to have Jennifer Jurgens as part of our Leadership Council,” stated NSBA President and CEO Todd McCracken. “She came to us highly recommended and I look forward to our coordinated efforts for years to come.”
